In 2012 I left Chicago, after 30 years, for a 10 acre farm in rural Southwest Michigan.  I had run a decorative painting business for 24 years, I was an Actor, Waiter, Barista and worked in television production.  After the recession hit in 2008 my painting business slowed and I had to rethink my future.  Remembering that some of the happiest times in my life were out in nature - I headed to the country.  Here i am now... making art, food, trying to live responsibly and reveling in nature.  I have not regretted my decision for a moment.
